2025 Holiday Limited “KINTO Collaborate Mug”
The KINTO ceramic mug, created in collaboration with KINTO and released each holiday season since 2023. This year introduces one of the holiday theme colors: a rich Azuki Red.
Based on KINTO’s FARO series, the material has been customized to enhance its handcrafted character. The body is made from sagan-do (sandstone clay), created by mixing Amakusa pottery stone mined from the Amakusa Peninsula with crushed sand and rock. This results in a rustic, organic feel and a matte texture reminiscent of earthenware, while being firmly high-fired in the tradition of Hasami ware.
Mineral components such as iron contained in the sandstone clay interact with the glaze, creating a deep and expressive finish.
A bottle logo is placed slightly below the handle at an angle, resulting in a simple yet eye-catching design. The stackable shape allows multiple mugs to be stored neatly without looking bulky.
Due to the characteristics of the glaze and clay used, variations in color and sheen naturally occur. In addition, kiln effects—such as subtle scorch-like marks formed during firing, which are unique to ceramics—ensure that no two mugs are exactly the same, allowing you to enjoy the individual character of each piece.
