"Popote" [13 round bowl with handle] is made from black earthen clay and glazed over using "nuanced and subdued" color matte type glazes. The simple form emphasizes a mosaic of materials. The large rim and shallow body are ideally suited for serving soup or side dishes and also to be an individual bowl for hot pot. The handle is handmade. Neatly stackable.
